Summary The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit bids from interested Bidders for: Traffic Control Products and Roadway Barricades – Purchase (e.g., purchase of road signs, cones, delineators, barricades, water-filled barriers, arrow boards, variable message boards, and truck-mounted attenuators) Traffic Control Products and Roadway Barricades – Rental (e.g., rental of road signs, cones, delineators, barricades, water-filled barriers, arrow boards, variable message boards, and truck-mounted attenuators) Safety Sign Posts for Purchase (e.g., TeleSpar or approved equal sign posts and related hardware) Aluminum Sign Blanks and Signs for Purchase (e.g., aluminum sign blanks, finished signs with sheeting, screen printing, and graffiti film) The City intends to award a pool of eligible, qualified, and competitive contracts for these products and services. The City may place orders with any of the resultant contract vendors, selecting the vendor the City wishes to use in any manner that the City department placing the order chooses. Background The City has held successful contracts for traffic control products, roadway barricades, safety sign posts, and aluminum sign blanks for several years. However, these contracts are set to expire or have expired, so the City is returning to the marketplace to establish a pool of new contracts.
