Display Signage

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit bids from qualified Vendor(s) to furnish the labor, materials and equipment required to provide display signage for City departments on an "as needed" basis. Many departments, and the resulting contract(s) will be available for Citywide use, but the highest utilizers have been Fleet Management and Facility Operations divisions of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services (FAS), Parks and Seattle Public Utilities (SPU). The work includes signage as specified in the Specification and Scope of Work, including but not limited to specialty graphics, labels, stickers, decals, magnets, banners, lawn signs, name plates, maps, fabrication of panels, and incidental installation. Graphic production includes but is not limited to, screen printing, label copy, digital images, vinyl graphics, photo etched or sandblasted images, and cut-out graphics images of letters. Installation services are not intended to include work better classified as construction or public works. The City currently has two contracts that provide display signage services (#3839 with Kolor Kraze LLC and #4414 with United Print Sign and Graphic LLC); however both contracts are due to expire in 2027 and do not have renewal options. Therefore, the City is returning for a competitive bid to establish new contract(s) to replace the existing contracts. Annual usage of the pool of contracts in the past four years has been: Year 2022 2023 2024 2025 Usage $120,619.94 $49,283.85 $70,043.63 $72,425.47
