Swimming Pool Chemicals

The City of Seattle (the "City") is soliciting bids to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to supply swimming pool treatment chemicals on an “as-needed” basis for a multi-year period. Vendors must be able to provide a continuous supply of chemicals, as required by the specifications for City swimming pools, wading pools and various fountains at locations within Seattle city limits. The City currently has contract #4738 with Orca Pacific Inc. to supply swimming pool chemicals, but this contract is due to be rebid. Use of the contract resulting from this solicitation is estimated to be $250,000 annually. The main user department will be Seattle Parks and Recreation, but other departments may purchase from the resulting contract as well.
