Cemetery Tree Removal Operations

The Town of Royalton is requesting proposals to provide tree maintenance services at the Royalton Broad Brook Cemetery, located at 3164 Broad Brook Rd, Royalton, VT 05068. Removal should be completed no later than October 31st, 2026. Scope of Services: Removal and stump grinding of two large pine trees. One pine can be felled and left in place. Schedule of Bidding: • Site Visit: 8/7/2026 (2pm) • Sealed Bid Due Date: 8/21/2026 (11:00am) • Bid Award: 8/25/2026 Bidders are to bid on the project with removal and stump grinding as separate items. Bids submitted as a lump sum for the project shall be rejected. The town of Royalton maintains the right to adjust this request for bid proposals upon a written notification to the contractor prior to August 21, 2026. If contractor does not verify receipt of any adjustment on their bid proposal, that proposal will not be considered. The Town of Royalton has the right to reserve the ability to extend this contract for up to three years. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the contractor’s name, address and phone number. Proposals received after the deadline stated shall not be accepted.
