Groves and Krieger Cng Station Renovation

1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Finance and Management is receiving bids until 11 A.M. local time, November 2, 2026, for construction services for the project. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. The project shall which includes expansion of CNG Stations at 4211 Groves Rd and as an alternate at 5115 Krieger Ct. The scope of the project at the Groves Rd Station consists of replacing two (2) compressed natural gas compressors and installing a third compressor. The scope also includes the addition of a 331 sf structure which will house the controls for the new CNG equipment. The structure will be Occupancy Group U and Classification Type IIB. The scope of the project at the Krieger Ct Station consists of installing a third compressor and/or storage racks as add-alternates and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specifications as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). 1.2 Classification: All bid documents (Invitation for Bid, technical specifications, plans, and future addenda) are available for review and download at www.bidexpress.com. Firms wishing to submit a bid must meet the mandatory requirements stated in the IFB, including being pre-qualified by the City of Columbus Office of Construction Prequalification, if applicable. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 4211 Groves Road, Columbus, Ohio 43232, from 9-1130 A.M. on October 29, 2026. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
