The objective of this bid—and the resulting requirements contract awarded after evaluating all submissions—is to supply sodium hypochlorite solution for use at the Easterly, Southerly, and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Plants operated by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD). This solution is essential for reducing E. coli concentrations to levels compliant with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements. The contract will remain in effect for one (1) year or until the allocated funds are fully expended, whichever occurs first.
