Description
The City of Lakeland, through Lakeland Electric, is seeking qualified Contractor(s) to provide inspection, testing, repair, reconditioning, rebuilding, refurbishment, and storage services for rotating equipment located at the McIntosh and Larsen Power Plants. Equipment covered under this agreement will primarily include industrial electric motors and pumps of various manufacturers, sizes, horsepower ratings, voltages, and configurations. Services may include clean, inspect and test (CIT); motor rewinding; pump and motor repair and reconditioning; machining; balancing and alignment; vibration analysis; online and offline predictive motor diagnostic analysis (PMDA); field services; painting and preservation; transportation; emergency services; and indoor storage. The City may award to one or more qualified Contractors based on demonstrated capabilities and the needs of the equipment being serviced.
