Description
The Griswold Housing Authority (“GHA”) is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified firms to serve as Construction Manager at Risk for the proposed New Construction of the McCluggage Manor Extension Project (the “Project”). The Project is anticipated to be financed through layered funding sources, including but not limited to the Connecticut Department of Housing (“DOH”) and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (“CHFA”). GHA anticipates utilizing 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits and tax-exempt bonds. Firms must demonstrate prior successful experience with DOH- and CHFA-funded affordable housing developments of similar scale to be considered. Project design and construction drawings are currently being prepared by Capital Studio Architects, LLC, East Hartford, Connecticut. Interviews and presentations, by invitation only, are anticipated to take place between July 6, 2026, and July 17, 2026, with selection expected immediately following the internal committee review
