IFB No. 133848 HVAC Mini-split Heat Pump Replacement Bldg. 6, Joint Forces Training Base

The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to replace Building 6s failed multizone mini split system with a new 5 ton heat pump and five indoor units, including full demolition, refrigerant/electrical/condensate installation, testing, documentation, and coordination to restore reliable cooling spaces. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 133848, HVAC Mini-split Heat Pump Replacement Bldg. 6 and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 10/26/2026, at 11:00 AM at Joint Forces Training Base, 11200 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Jordan Bernal at Jordan.Bernal@cmd.ca.gov. The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-20 - Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Jordan Bernal at Jordan.Bernal@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 10/28/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 133848.
