Description

Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the Estuary Park Primary Underground Cable Relocation Project located at Estuary Park / Challenger Field near Mosley Avenue in Alameda, California. The work generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic control, supervision, and incidentals necessary to: Install approximately 564 linear feet of underground conduit system; Install two (2) underground utility boxes; Perform potholing and utility locating; Excavate, trench, directional bore, backfill, compact, and restore disturbed areas; Provide all surface restoration required by the City of Alameda; Abandon existing underground facilities in place; Coordinate with AMP for energized utility work. The Contractor may utilize either: Open trench construction; or Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) / directional boring methods. Bidders may submit pricing for one (Option A or Option B) or both bid options. Bids shall be submitted as a single lump sum amount per line, and final selection shall be based on TOTAL lump sum amount. The completed installation shall comply with AMP standards, City of Alameda permit requirements, and all applicable codes and regulations.
