Water Distribution System Improvements

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the “City”), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities (“DPU”) seeks bids from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Water Distribution System Improvements Project (the “Project”). The Project will entail installation of new water mains, services, hydrants, and facilities within the City's water distribution system (the “Work”). The Work will also include rock excavation, blasting, boring, cast and ductile iron joint replacement, trenching, and certain emergency services. Specific details regarding the nature and prosecution of the Work are provided below in the Statement of Work.
