REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) DESIGN SERVICES BEAUFORT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEW BLOODHOUND KENNEL FACILITY BEAUFORT COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA 1. NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS Beaufort County, South Carolina is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional design services for the development of a new Sheriff’s Office Bloodhound Kennel Facility. The selected firm will provide architectural and engineering (A/E) design services . Construction will be procured separately by the County. Important: This RFQ is for design services only . Construction and design-build services are not included in this solicitation. 2. PROJECT OVERVIEW The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office currently operates bloodhound kennels located at a former Animal Shelter site. These facilities are obsolete, unsuitable for continued use, and must be replaced. The existing site is also required for future County use.
