Portuguese Civilian Employee Insurance Coverage

This is a Combined Synopsis and Solicitation opportunity. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, and services to furnish comprehensive insurance coverage as required by Portuguese law, to local national Portuguese employees, employed by United States Forces Azores (USFORAZORES) at Lajes Field, Terceira island, Azores. Companies submitting an offer shall have an active Autorida de de Supervisao de Seguros e Fundos de Pensoes (ASF) Certification, in accordance with Portuguese law. Further details are presented throughout the Solicitation document FA448626Q0008 and related attachments. If your company intends to be present at the proposal conference shceduled for Wednesday, 8 July 2026, at 1400 hours local time (UTC-1), consider that access to the installation is strictly controlled; therefore, all prospective attendees must confirm their intent to participate no later than 1400 hours on Friday, 3 July 2026, by emailling the Contracting Officer, Ms. Andrea A. Silva at andrea.silva.1.pt@us.af.mil.
