Bridge #671280 Railing Repair

Washington County is seeking bids from qualified contractors. Selected contractor will repair and replace damaged bridge railing and deck components on Bridge #671280 on Stringtown Rd at Gales Creek Crossing . Work includes concrete removal, reinforcing steel installation, and construction of new standard concrete handrail and deck sections per ODOT drawings. The Work to be done under this Contract includes: • Removing damaged portions of the existing concrete rail and deck as shown in the Plans. • Protecting existing deck reinforcement at locations indicated. • Constructing new concrete deck and standard concrete handrail per applicable ODOT drawings. • Installing reinforcing steel in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO requirements. • Providing Temporary Work Access and Containment systems as depicted in the Plans. • Performing concrete removal, replacement, finishing, and joint construction within the limits shown. • Implementing temporary traffic control and detour signing per the Plans. • Completing all additional, incidental, and environmental compliance work required by the Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, Typical Drawings, and Plans.
