JPWRP Power System Upgrades & Safety IMP (650257-100101)

The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, is receiving bids until Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time for construction services on CIP # 650257-100101, Contract J228, Jackson Pike Water Reclamation Plant Power System Upgrades and Safety Improvements. Bids are to be submitted only through Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com. The work consists of replacing four(4) unit substations, replacing fused primary switches with vacuum circuit breakers in ten(10) unit substations, replacing two medium voltage fused switches with vacuum circuit breakers, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract. A pre-bid meeting will be held. Attendance is strongly recommended. It will be held at Jackson Pike Water Reclamation Plant, Administration Building Conference Room, 2104 Jackson Pike (State Route 104), Columbus, OH 43223 on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 9:00 AM with a plant walk-through following the conference. All questions concerning this bid are to reference the project number and the project name and be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. No phone calls concerning questions about the bid will be accepted. The last day to submit questions will be specified in the IFB. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum.
