1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, is receiving bids until Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time for construction services on CIP # 650260-103016, Contract SCP-28SO, Southerly Hazardous Gas Monitors Replacement Project. Bids are to be submitted only through Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies or emails will not be accepted. This project’s work consists of replacement of existing Hazardous Gas Monitors at, Screen and Grit Building(SGB), Raw Sewage Pump Building(RSP), Digestor Control Buildings(DC1- DC4), Thickening Facilities(TFE and TFW), Sludge Loadout Building(SLB), Service Building(SEV) and Sludge Control Building(SCB), and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract. All questions concerning this bid are to reference the project number and the project name and be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. No phone calls concerning questions about the bid will be accepted. The last day to submit questions will be specified in the IFB. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum. A pre-bid meeting will be held. Attendance is strongly recommended. It will be held at Southerly Water Reclamation Plant, Administration Building Conference Room, 6977 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137 on Wednesday, July 15 2026 at 10:00 AM with a plant walk-through following the conference. Notice of published addenda will be posted on the City’s Vendor Services website and the addenda will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com.
