Primary Clarifier #1 Rehabilitation Project

The primary clarifiers were installed in 1998 and have reached the end of their useful life. The coating on the metal equipment has failed resulting is extensive corrosion of the carbon steel. The mechanical system is beyond repair, so this equipment must be removed and replaced. This project proposes to replace the mechanical equipment, replacement of the electrical control panel, and concrete/grout repairs, to restore proper operation and extend the units life as per the attached plans and specifications.
