To develop a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Core Competency Curriculum to provide a standardized training curriculum that provides high quality, standardized training for potential and current DSPs in the state of North Carolina. The curriculum is designed to increase retention and recruitment in the NC DSP Workforce by increasing job competency, job satisfaction, and professionalizing the role of a DSP.
