The Government requires a standard and preventative maintenance service agreement for the North Star Imaging Computed Tomography X5000 (CT Scanner) equipment.   The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.103-1(b). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Proof of Authorized Reseller Status: If the responding company is not the OEM, a letter or official documentation from the OEM confirming the respondent is an authorized reseller capable of providing the required software licenses and support to the Federal Government. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. Note: FAR 52.219-14 Limitation on Subcontracting requires a small business prime on a Set-Aside to perform at least 50% of the cost of contract performance. Small business primes may now count “first tier subcontracted” work performed by similarly situated entities as if it were performed by the prime itself. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Although the Government intends to sole source this requirement, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency if received by the response deadline.
