RFP 27-06 Hawaii Tourism Consulting Svcs for Cruise Industry

The Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority (HTA) is the state agency responsible for representing the Hawaiian Islands around the world and holistically managing tourism in Hawaiʻi sustainably, consistent with community desires, economic goals, cultural values, preservation of natural resources, and visitor industry needs. The HTA seeks an experienced cruise industry consultant to provide strategic guidance on Hawaiʻi’s cruise market, serve as a key liaison among international, national, and local cruise stakeholders, and support efforts to enhance visitor experiences, address industry and legislative issues, identify opportunities and challenges, improve resident sentiment, and strengthen coordination between cruise lines, local tour operators, and other industry and community partners.
