RFP 27-15 Sport Strategy Study - Green Fee Project

The Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority (HTA) is the state agency responsible for representing the Hawaiian Islands around the world and for holistically managing tourism in Hawaiʻi in a sustainable manner consistent with community desires, economic goals, cultural values, preservation of natural resources, and visitor industry needs. The Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority (HTA) seeks a qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive Statewide Sports Tourism Study. The State needs data-driven insights to make data-driven policy and investment decisions regarding sports tourism. To support this effort, the Legislature appropriated funds to conduct a study to better understand both the economic benefits and the public costs associated with sporting events.
