Description
The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to perform soil tests for participants of the Conservation Agriculture and Soil Health (CASH) for ‘Aina, and to facilitate experiential soil sampling and soil health education as part of a series of workshops across the islands, for land managers focused upon soil health and conservation agriculture strategies. In order to sustain and expand gains made from the Carbon Smart Land Management Assistance Pilot Program and to further efforts for Conservation Agriculture and Soil Health DLNR is offering a series of workshops across the State of Hawai’i focused upon conservation agriculture and soil health, with an included value of free soil health tests for registered participants of the workshops. Soil testing and interpretation will take place through coordination following each workshop, and will be managed between the contractor and workshop participants who submit their soil samples for free testing. This job may be partially awarded, based on funding availability and permissions for access.
