Fee-for-Service Court Evaluation Services, Statewide

AMHD’s Court Evaluation Branch conducts court‑ordered evaluations of competency, criminal responsibility, and dangerousness under Chapter 704, Hawaii Revised Statutes. AMHD seeks qualified evaluators to ensure timely completion of these examinations, requiring providers to maintain a Hawaii-based practice, perform in‑person evaluations unless otherwise approved, and independently meet all licensure and credentialing requirements. Evaluators are responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations, which include reviewing records, interviewing Defendants, and submitting reports by court‑ordered deadlines, with case assignments determined by the CEB Chief.
