Walton Court Milling and Paving

Formal bids will be received by Social Circle for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for Walton Court Milling and Paving Project. Walton Court is located off of Vine Circle in Social Circle, GA. Bids will be received at the City of Social Circle, Attention: Robbie Groves, 166 North Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Any bids received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by Owner. Bids will be publicly opened and only the names of the respondents will be read aloud at 2:10 p.m. local time on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the of Social Circle City Hall, 166 North Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025. All bids will be evaluated by the City of Social Circle and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 45 days of the bid opening. Copies of documents and plans can be requested via email to Natalie Pifer, Precision Planning, Inc. at 861np@ppi.us. Questions regarding this request for bids should be emailed directly to Natalie Pifer, Precision Planning, Inc. at 861np@ppi.us no later than 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 22, 2026. CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS quoting on this Project will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. The City of Social Circle reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of Social Circle. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with the City of Social Circle named as additional insured.
