Financial Advisor Services

The Douglas County Board of Commissioners (DCBOC) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and experienced Financial Advisor to provide Financial Advisor Services for Douglas County Board of Commissioners. The selected firm will provide seeking proposals from firms qualified and interested in functioning as its Municipal Advisor / Financial Advisor. The County has two main purposes in selecting an Advisor. First, the Advisor will assist the County in reviewing and developing financial policies, programs and plans that enhance the County¿s financial strength and sustainability to include development of maintenance/replacement funds with related financing plans. The Advisor¿s second role will be to assist in the structuring and issuance of bonds or private placement debt for funding of significant capital needs. The County retains the option to select more than one firm as its Advisor.
