ITQ#166589VT Generator #17 Protective Relay Upgrade

The purpose of this Invitation to Quote (ITQ) is to obtain a qualified and experienced contractor for the upgrading of the protective relay for Generator #17 from an electromechanical relay to a solid-state digital relay. The relay is a common modernization project that typically provides improved protection, reliability, and diagnostics. Award may not be based solely on price. Award may be made to the responsive and responsible contractor whose quote is determined to be most advantageous to the City, considering price and other factors. Evaluation factors may include price, contractor qualifications and licensing, experience with similar work, ability to meet the required project schedule, mobilization time from notice to proceed, and demonstrated ability to complete project by time provided by the department.
