Description
The Airline Technical Representative (ATR) will act as the primary liaison between airlines operating at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the airport’s Planning, Engineering & Construction (PEC) and Operational Readiness and Transition (ORAT) teams during all phases of capital improvement projects. This role ensures airline operational needs are integrated into project planning, design, construction, and commissioning, minimizing disruptions and supporting smooth implementation. Key Responsibilities: Coordination & Communication: Serve as the single point of contact for airlines, facilitating input and consensus throughout project phases. Technical Review: Coordinate airline feedback on design documents, technical requirements, and schedules. Project Controls: Monitor schedules, budgets, and deliverables to align with airline operations. Operational Input: Ensure airline requirements are considered in project decisions and readiness planning. Representation: Advocate for airline interests across major projects such as APM Replacement, Baggage System Upgrades, and Terminal Optimization. This role is critical for aligning capital improvement initiatives with airline operations and fostering collaboration between stakeholders.
