that The Metropolitan District (MDC) is inviting qualified SBE companies to submit bids on Contract Number 2026B-43 for Furnish and Deliver Topsoil, Crushed Stone, and Road Salt, as specified in this solicitation. SBE firms and/or businesses that are certified by the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and/or (b) certified by the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and maintaining its primary office or location in Connecticut. Sealed bids will be received by the MDC no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time on October 9, 2026 at the Office of the District Clerk, as specified below.
