Center Green Fountain Updates

The Town of Glastonbury Parks Department will receive bids to furnish all labor, materials, equipment & incidentals required to replace an existing fountain, fountain filter, pump system & electrical equipment currently housed within an underground vault. Due to concerns regarding regular accessibility, moisture intrusion, & long-term maintenance, the control & electrical system is proposed to be relocated to an above-ground enclosure designed to be both functional & aesthetically compatible with the surrounding landscape. The new pump system will remain located within the underground vault to minimize noise. The scope of work includes mechanical, electrical, & plumbing modifications, as well as site improvements to support the new installation.
