AC Units for the Green at 38th

The City of Wheat Ridge began public engagement in 2018 to transform the area between Stevens Elementary and 38th Avenue into a public gathering space. After engagement concluded in 2021, design concepts were approved in 2022. Construction began in summer 2024, with the parking lot completed ahead of the 2024–2025 school year and park construction starting immediately after. The Green at 38th officially opened in August 2025. The City of Wheat Ridge is seeking to purchase and install air conditioning units in the building located at the Green at 38th.
