Description
Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, permits, and incidentals necessary to provide demolition services, abate and remove all hazardous materials, and provide environmental plans, and removal of fencing, debris, and trees as required. Location of Services: Mouth of Cottonwood Creek Wildlife Area, Manner Property, 22231 Adobe Road, Cottonwood, CA, 96002, Shasta County License Required: A ¿ General Engineering Contractor, or B ¿ General Building Contractor With the following requirements: C22 License: If the Bidding Contractor does not possess the required license, then the Bidding Contractor shall subcontract with a contractor having the said license. Lead Abatement: Lead-Related Certificate (LRC) from the Department of Public Health, Childhood Poisoning Prevention Branch. If the Bidding Contractor does not possess the required certificate, then the Bidding Contractor shall subcontract with a contractor with said Certification. The subcontractor may not sublet the work to another contractor. The subcontractor must be listed on the list of Proposed Subcontractors, Attachment documents ¿ Attachment 4, page 6, and Attachment 13 GSPD-05-106, page 20, regardless of the amount of work. Estimated Cost: $ 200,000.00 Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a copy of your certification must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that ¿No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for projects greater than $25,000.00¿. Failure to register with DIR or list sub-contractors not registered will render your bid non-responsive.
