IFB No. 130890 Building 44 Roof & Structural Wood Replacement, Joint Forces Training Base

The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees for the complete construction, demolition, structural timber repair, and full replacement of the roof system at Building 44. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 130890, Building 44 Roof & Structural Wood Replacement and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 7/22/2026, at 11:00 AM at Joint Forces Training Base, 11200 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov. The prime contractor MUST possess a type B - General Building Contractor and/or a C-39 - Roofing Contractor license. The Prime Contractor shall also possess a C-22 - Asbestos Abatement Contractor license. If the prime contractor does not possess a C-22, then they shall hire a subcontractor with a C-22 license. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 8/5/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 130890. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The bid opening will be held on 8/31/2026 at 2:15 PM.
