Description
Purpose: This is a competitive grant solicitation. The California Energy Commission’s (CEC’s) Clean Transportation Program announces the availability of up to $4 million in grant funds for projects that will provide an open and neutral space for industry collaboration, knowledge sharing, interoperability testing, and conformance testing for electric vehicle charging equipment. This is a competitive grant solicitation. The California Energy Commission’s (CEC’s) Clean Transportation Program announces the availability of up to $4 million in grant funds for projects that will provide an open and neutral space for industry collaboration, knowledge sharing, interoperability testing, and conformance testing for electric vehicle charging equipment. Eligible Applicants: This solicitation is open to private or public entities. The applicant may be a single entity or may consist of multiple entities bidding as a group. Investor-owned utilities, publicly-owned utilities, universities and university-operated facilities are not eligible for this solicitation. The Charge Yard facility must be located in California. However, the applicant does not need to be headquartered in California. Eligible Geographies: The Charge Yard facility must be located in California. However, the applicant does not need to be headquartered in California. Matching Funding: Applications must include a minimum 33 percent total match share for this solicitation.
