Description
City and County of San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA) Funding Opportunity Request for Proposals (RFP) #1280 Supportive Services for Former Foster Youth The San Francisco Human Services Agency (SFHSA) announces its intent to seek proposals from nonprofit organizations interested in providing comprehensive supportive services for former foster youth. These services will support the transition of eligible minor and non-minor dependents and youth formerly involved in the child welfare or juvenile justice systems as they adjust to adulthood and independent living. Priority will be given to young adults ages 22 to 28. The selected provider will deliver innovative programming that includes, at a minimum, individualized services and resource navigation. Proposals may also include additional types of services appropriate for the target population, e.g. group workshops, community-building events, etc. Services should be culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and designed to promote long-term self-sufficiency.
