Description
SFMTA Garage Elevator Modernization - Phase 2A Scope of Work: This project involves the modernization of three traction passenger elevator and one hydraulic elevator at Ellis O’Farrell Garage (EOF) located at 123 O’Farrell Street and the modernization of two traction passenger elevators located at St. Mary's Garage (SMA) located at 433 Kearny Street in San Francisco. The modernization involves the replacement and refurbishment of existing elevator equipment, controllers, fixtures, elevator cabs and includes related mechanical, electrical, and fire protection work. The time allowed for completion is 1,140 consecutive calendar days. The estimated construction cost is approximately $8,500,000. An onsite pre-bid meeting and site walk will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Ellis O’Farrell Garage located at 123 O’Farrell Street. Meet in elevator lobby located on the ground floor. After the site walk at the Ellis O'Farrell Garage, the site walk will continue at St. Mary's Garage located at 433 Kearny Street, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Ellis O'Farrell Garage.
