The California Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD), collectively referred to as the State, invites you to review and welcomes proposals for cafeteria space located in the Ronald Reagan State Building at 300 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. The cafeteria will provide food service for state employees, guests, and the local community. The Ronald Reagan State Building is an established facility containing: ¿ An existing food service cafeteria comprised of equipment, storage room, food prep areas, and service area which measures approximately 5,960 square feet (SF). ¿ An exclusive dining area which measures approximately 7,578 SF. o The combined cafeteria area and exclusive dining area measures approximately 13,623 SF. The State is seeking a qualified food service provider (referred to as the Awarded Bidder) to provide a variety of healthy, fresh, and nutritious food options and excellent customer service. Food service and cafe operations could include, but are not limited to: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, beverages, grab-n-go food, online ordering, catering, and special events. At no time will alcoholic beverages be served during the daily food service operation. The Awarded Bidder must maintain high level customer service and prioritize DGS¿ satisfaction with food quality, pricing, menu selection, and catering services.
