Capabilities

Weatherwave Space develops distributed Earth observation systems in which many small spacecraft fly in precise formation and operate as a single instrument. Sub-millimeter relative positioning and picosecond timing across baselines from 100 meters to 5 kilometers enable coherent multi-platform aperture synthesis, simultaneous multi-angle collection, and millimeter-class surface deformation measurement. No single satellite can provide these. Applications include Earth Science; ISR against camouflage, concealment, and deception; slow movers; targeting-quality 3D reconstruction; GNSS-RO for numerical weather prediction; and agricultural and catastrophe risk monitoring. Core capabilities: mission concept development, spacecraft systems engineering, formation and orbital design, precision navigation & timing, distributed-aperture radar architecture, and Earth observation data product definition.
