Founded by Miguel Martinez and Jamie Sisley, Aster Creative Co. focuses on developing genuine connections with people and clients in order to discover the most authentic, thoughtful, and visually arresting way to tell their stories. MiG and Jamie cultivated this approach when they first collaborated together as co-directors on the feature documentary, Farewell Ferris Wheel. The film received an Emmy nomination, an Imagen award nomination for positive portrayal of Latinos in entertainment, and was broadcast nationally on PBS and Netflix. Jamie earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, and an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University. Mig's music video, film, and photography work with clients such as Ozomatli, Orishas, and Ana De Armas landed him a Grammy nomination. Clients include: HBO, Events DC, Marriott, Sesame Street, Sony Music, PBS, ATO Records, World Central Kitchen, The Line Hotel, Visual AIDS Project, Film 45, Jesus Navarro, and Matisse.
