Portal Aircraft Company, Inc. (PAC) is a small, disabled veteran-owned business developing patented gas-turbine powered multi-mission VTOL drones for SOF ISR, strike, and contested logistics. Our innovative architecture channels exhaust from a central gas turbine directly to distributed rotor turbines—eliminating gearboxes, batteries, electric motors, and complex subsystems—for extended range/endurance, low maintenance, rapid JP-8 refueling, and survivability against directed energy threats. A scaled prototype has demonstrated stable, controllable flight, with Texas A&M University partnering on full-scale prototyping via CFD, additive manufacturing, and testing. We support DoD and Special Operations Forces with runway-independent, modular-payload platforms enabling persistent operations in austere/denied environments without external infrastructure or recharge needs.
