INS Consultants, Inc. (INS) is one company within The INS Companies and employs over 20 credentialed and highly experienced actuaries, in addition to more than 10 rehabilitation and liquidation specialists. INS is unique in that we have exclusively served 49 state insurance departments and several US territories since our inception in 1987. All our actuaries are members of the American Academy of Actuaries and are designated as an Associate or Fellow of the American Casualty Society and/or Society of Actuaries, providing expertise in both the property/casualty and life/health areas of practice. Our rehabilitation and liquidation team consists of Certified Financial Examiners, CPAs, attorneys, estate managers, as well as experts in IT, claims, and underwriting. INS is skilled in actuarial rate and form filing reviews and other actuarial services, in addition to receivership management.
