Capabilities

We expect electronics to survive in conditions which life cannot. However, there are environments found in space and on earth for which conventional electronics are not suited, whether it is due to harsh thermal, chemical, or pressure conditions, or because the traditional means for mitigating the effects of these conditions cannot be employed. Our NASA-funded Technology Transfer project, Electronics for Thermally Extreme Environments, is making significant advancements in developing 3D Printed Electronics with Material Properties Engineered for Cold Survivability (-180 C). This technology is not limited to applications in space, and we are currently identifying new industries into which this technology can be expanded.
