Capabilities

Provide veterinary support services to the Department of Clinical Investigations research, training and education missions. Specific services include: providing for the daily care and management of the laboratory animal program including provision of routine and emergency veterinary medical and surgical care, animal protocol support, animal record maintenance, ensure compliance with animal welfare laws, regulations, and SOPs, animal research protocol and amendment review, Consultation on protocol development and support, assistance with animal research regulatory questions/issues.
