Established in 1981 Mangar is a UK based company, supplying the USA from our service and distribution center in Pawtucket, Rhode Island for more than 10 years. We started by supplying bath lifts but have grown and expanded into designing and manufacturing specialist lifting cushions that are used to safely lift people who fall. Used widely by the NHS in the UK, our products can lift someone weighing up to 1,000 lbs. The impact of a fall on a veteran can be considerable. Although the fall itself may not cause injury, the fear of falling again can reduce activity and reduction in muscle strength so triggering further complications.
