Químicas Unidas was founded in 1964 to represent chemical companies and distribute their products in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. We represent companies as Crompton, Reheis and Andek, with a variety of products for industries including Bristol Myers, Johnson&Johnson and Abbott. Químicas Unidas has grown to be among the leading distributions of top quality waterproofing and insulation products. We distributed IPI Foam Systems for more than 35 yrs, company later merged to become part of multinational company BASF Corp. We now continue the exclusive distribution of BASF’s polyurethane and coatings and other products for roofing, waterproofing & insulation and warranty programs by BASF. Throughout years we have diversified and decided to refocus towards sustainable products of benefit to the environment. Some of these are SPF, TPO, vegetated roofs and photovoltaics. We also provide services, consulting, inspection, general roofing contracting, maintenance and warranty.
