Dr. Jenkins-Fernández is a licensed Veteran Clinical Psychologist helping people heal from trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT), utilizing a dog, miniature-donkeys, and a miniature horse to facilitate a healing pathway of post-traumatic growth. She also uses an experiential approach called Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) Model to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) with a team of a Mental Health Professional, Equine Specialist, and horses.
