Aterra Solutions, LLC (Aterra)is a full-service engineering consultancy. Aterra provides civil and water resources engineering services, with particular expertise in severe flooding assessment, mitigation and protection design. Aterra’s severe flooding expertise has been enhanced through our significant involvement in severe flooding assessment for the nuclear industry. Our dam and levee experts have significant experience with many Federal and State programs, such as the NRCS watershed rehabilitation program and levee certifications in support of FEMA levee accreditations. Our engineers and scientists are well-versed in a broad range of civil and water resources-related services, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; dam and levee assessment and design; dam breach modeling; sediment transport and water quality modeling; stormwater management design; FEMA flood studies; feasibility studies and FERC licensing of hydropower projects; and land development projects.
