Capabilities

OVAI has been WBENC Certified through both WBE and WOSB programs. OVAI develops innovative solutions to cultural resource management problems. Its main disciplines are: Prehistoric and Historic Archaeology; Geophysical Survey; GIS Applications; and Cemetery Studies. OVAI has one of the most comprehensive Archaeo-Geophysical programs in the country, having conducted surveys worldwide. Since 1997, OVAI has completed over 1000 cultural resource management projects for a wide variety of federal, state, and local agencies, & private sector clients throughout the US & several foreign countries (Poland, UK, South Africa, and Mexico). OVAI’s work includes Sections 106 & 110 NHPA compliance. OVAI held a 4 year IDIQ with the Wayne National Forest, OH and served as cultural resource sub-consultant for DOE contractors. OVAI has successfully completed multiple projects as prime for NPS, DPAA, and has partnered with USACE.
