Metasorbex is an advanced materials startup. Our mission is to convert waste to feedstock. Our patented technology provides low-cost extraction and separation of REEs, Sc, and Ga from industrial wastes (fly ash, phosphoric sludge, acid mine drainage or red mud). Our focus is on the magnetic REEs (Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb), Sc and Ga. We choose them because of their high value and for supply chain resiliency. This is done through 10x improvement in extraction of REE and 10x improvement in selectivity of individual elements over incumbent (solvent extraction).
