Kairos Research LLC is a small R&D business based in Dayton, OH, conducting applied research for federal DoD (DARPA, Air Force, SOCOM, Army, Navy, etc.), and ODNI (IARPA, NGA) clients with a goal towards software commercialization. Our expertise spans Human-Centered Data Analytics, Explainable AI (XAI), and Adaptive Human-Machine Teaming. We enhance human sensemaking, provide transparent AI insights, and optimize trusted human-machine collaboration for superior and resilient performance in complex, uncertain, adversarial, and dynamic environments. Our work directly supports national security and intelligence objectives, creating new paradigms for human-machine teaming and delivering high-payoff solutions that improve decision-making and mission outcomes. We are uniquely qualified to design hybrid systems that leverage the complementary strengths of natural and synthetic intelligence.
