Capabilities

AMRAND LLC's current capabilities are focused on measuring material properties and on the modeling of high temperature epoxy composites. The material properties of these novel materials are measured through thermo-mechanical and ultrasound tests over a range of frequencies and temperatures. We utilize advanced instrumentation such as TGA, DSC, Tensile/Torsion DMA, TMA, and Ultrasound systems to measure and calculate various mechanical properties of materials. These measurements are then used as inputs into various models or simulations of the material and used to predict its behavior in extreme environments. AMRAND has a long-term vision to develop a stand alone instrument that fully automates material preparation, characterization, and modeling. This will be achieved through ultrasound techniques, ML/AI, and robotics. This technology will give the advantage of rapidly characterizing new materials in the lab or field, accelerating material research, qualification, and certification.
